To all of you who have given birth with or without pain medication, at home or at a hospital,
with or without a husband, mostly alone or surrounded by people.

You have done an incredible thing, you have struggled and stretched, cried and been through so much
to birth a child. You have been transformed from a woman to a mother. You have already in the hours before, done more than you might ever do, to be all that you could ever be, for your child.

You deserve unlimited love from your child. Instead, from the moment your baby is born, you give them more..

You should rest, you should be held and fed and bathed.
